hi why the fuck is this happening. why is it looking so lq.... the canvas is big enough, but when i'm zoomed at 33% or 66% it looks like this??? 50% and 100% look fine..
How many pixels per inch did you set?

300 PPI, and it looks totally fine at 100%

here's what it looks like at 100%

For as long as I've known anything was wasn't on 25/50/100% looked like shit for me.

how do you adapt to it? i can't remember if it's been like this all along or if it's only because i reinstalled photoshop
Photoshop has always been like that to me as well, and I've been using it since CS2

Update/reinstall graphics card drivers maybe?
There is one option in Photoshop's Performance that you have to adjust.
Now go figured out which one
Found this post in an old Conceptart thread.
>The pixellation is purely a display thing. In more recent versions of Photoshop (CS4 and 5 I think), in preferences under performance there is a checkbox for "OpenGL drawing". if you enable this option your image can display without pixellation at other zoom levels.
What happens if you save the image and view it as a PNG / JPG / whatever?

Older versions of photoshop are fucked, either live with it or get recent versions

Have you tried turning it off and then on?
