I mostly browse /vr/ and that doesn't help much with my art. I used to browse /v/ for the longest time which was a total depressing time-sink. It wasn't even fun to browse for a long time, it was just a headache everyday. Fuck /v/, seriously. One of the top 5 shittiest boards on this website for sure. Quitting that place was the best decision of my life and I'm actually putting time towards my art now with less pessimism in my life.

Ignoring it is the absolute worst thing you can do though. Being a NEET at 19 isn't a huge deal but becomes an issue in year early 20s, you want to get sorted out now before it becomes a legitimate issue.
I would strongly recommend going to school this fall, or the next if the program you want doesn't accept students past the initial deadline.
