So I have two monitors, and the bigger one sits off to the side and that's the one I draw on. I'm rearranging my desk around so that I don't have the tablet sitting on my lap while I draw and that my larger drawing monitor is centered in front of me.
My dumb question is what do I put on the other monitor while I draw? If I'm not going to use it what's the purpose of having two monitors? The best thing I can come up with is having one of those slideshows of poses on it for doing gestures.

use it for easy acces to somethingg you are listening too, i really like to listen to sleepycast, but you may aswell listen to music or anything that comes to mind that either inspires you or eases your mind. as i said the second monitor can be used for easy acces without anyoingg minimizing.
Depends on what I'm doing. Sometimes I'll have references or http://artists.pixelovely.com/practice-tools/figure-drawing/
Other times (mainly when I'm not working with references) I'll have another window of what I'm drawing. That way I can focus on small details on my main monitor, then quickly look to the other and make sure it looks fine zoomed out. It's pretty useful if you tunnel vision too hard on features.

nigga what? I have 2 monitors and I am thinking I would need like 4 for a good work flow, but I am not pro yet so I can't justifie the cost
