I'm looking for works of communist artists.
>>2560885
What do you mean by communist artists? Subject matter, style, something else? Do you mean soviet block artists or the ones from say, Cuba or China? Modern ones, 50s, 70s?
>>2560885
Artists that defended communism in their opinions.
Like Diego Rivera and David Alfaro Siqueiros.
>>2560891
I assume OP meant artists which worked in communist countries while communism was in full bloom
>>2560885
Kahlo is one but she sucks
>>2560885
Just search "social realism" or "Soviet art" and do some sifting.

Do your own homework.

Hand holding is superior
Deal with it
>>2564740
a mix is actually the better
one with just handholding won't know how to learn something knew and will plateau at the level of his teachers
one with just self teaching will progress slow

Oh shit. Sorry about the watermark.

Made another sweep. It's pretty rough going since I barely know any Russian, but here's some pieces I saved.

You do realize there are english sites where you can access these images right? Google translate or simply copying the cyrillic names and pasting into google also help to find or navigate things. Source: I love Russian art and Soviet era art.

Yes. Usually you can find these on English sites, but sometimes not (I check both to find the best quality and resolution) For example, some of these are from English sites, but I had to track down the Russian title.
I prefer to catalog in the original (or native) language whenever I can.

I already have this bookmarked, but you have my regards nonetheless.

Is this a subtle joke about how the benches are all turning away from each other and that highlights how communism is anti social/divides people?

Loving couples sit on benches too, and they are oriented in a circle as a symbol for unity. Collective love comrade!

I just saved a bunch of Deneika's paintings to my computer a couple days ago and didn't come across this one, thanks for posting
>>2565300
No problem. Would you mind sharing some perhaps?
>>2565304
I could maybe upload a zip? It's only about 60 images though since I only really saved the ones I like and not every painting he did. Looking again now I wonder if the different spellings on his name might mean I missed a lot (and I notice too I mispelled it by accident in my last post). When I was searching for his art I went by Aleksandr Deyneka.
I was more interested actually in setting up my Moiseenko folder which I've been putting off for a while, so I have about 100 pics by him saved out if you are interested.
>>2565307
Oh neat! Just post your favorite few pieces man!
>>2565311
Well for Moiseenko I like probably 90% of what he did, so it would be a lot to post

Literally the most disturbing thread I've senn on /ic/ so far.
>>2565335
I can go back to Moiseenko then if you dig him
>>2565338
Why? Even if you disagree with the politics, there is some powerful work that was created and can still be enjoyed

In case people didn't notice already, I'm posting Moiseenko again

>>2565363
Oh yeah, I like that one. Thanks for contributing.
Pic related: I corrected the colors a bit, removed the watermark, and gave it a more proper filename.
>>2565374
Your colour correction is almost imperceptible. It's hard to correct without seeing the original, but the image seems to have a yellow cast to it so I would have reduced yellows a bit. Just using Image>Auto Color in Photoshop does a reasonable job of colour correction in my opinion. You'll see the whites especially seem more neutral or a bit cooler. Of course it is still speculation as I'm not sure what it looks like in person, and it may have yellowed a bit with age even though it's not all that old.
>>2564737
I don't know why people like you even bother posting here.
I downloaded 3.50GBs of Communist propaganda posters someone uploaded, but I have no way of uploading it.
I can't seem to find the unoriginal torrent, aswell.
Any ideas?
