I'm just started drawing and I'm looking for simple exercises I could do to help improve my manual skills.

Do you guys have any suggestions?

Draw a thousand circles, a thousand cubes and a thousand rectangles.
Then take a gun and shoot yourself.
Read the fucking sticky.

Draw a Box Lesson 1 or if you can find a working download (share it you faggot) Peter Han's Dynamic Sketching class.

Draw square grids and try to get every square perfect. Don't go over the same line twice.

Plan is simple.

Read the Sticky, hesitate between Drawing on the right side of the brain and Keys to drawing.
Do yourself a favor and pick Keys to drawing.

The book is full of simple exercises, getting gradually harder.
