Something's broken, what do I do?

What do we draw?
>Whatever you want. At this point there's no required topic so draw your heart out. Make sure you submit at least a half hour of work or you may get a low effort warning.
What's a low effort warning?
>The goal is to get people to draw every day by turning it into a competition. The low effort warning system is to prevent people from posting last minute, quick sketches when they're feeling lazy. If you receive a warning and it happens again within a month you'll be eliminated.
>This rule has been the cause of a lot of concern amongst newer artists so let me reiterate: this system is to police low effort content and has nothing to do with the quality of the work. New artists are more than welcome.
What happens if I'm eliminated?
>A new Last Artist Standing challenge starts every week. If you get eliminated then get it together and rejoin next week.
How can there be a new Last Artist Standing challenge every week?
>This is a way to let new artists join in and to allow re-entry for the eliminated. Every week a new challenge is started. If you joined on week 1 and make it to week 2 then your daily submission counts for both the first and second Last Artist Standing. If you get eliminated then you're eliminated from both challenges and you'll be able to rejoin next week.
Will I have an advantage if I join later in the week?
>The winner of a Last Artist Standing will be the artist with the longest streak. If you join on day 1 and last until day 85 then you'll have a streak of 85. If there's only one person left in the challenge when you're eliminated but they joined on Day 7 then they'll need to continue on for another week. If they're eliminated before then, you win.

I did this animation for the community challenge on the site but I was wondering if maybe I should go simpler like using a ball with a face.should level one animations like this one take me this long?

Yes you should start simpler. Ball is best one, or a brick. Then a ball with a tail, then sack of flour, magical carpet like in alladin etc.
And yeah animation takes ages. You could try doing a rough one for the movement though and then once you're sure that's sorted then you go in on top with the more detailed drawing.

I had this same problem with the head turn at first (lava called me out on it that sonovab-), you need to define your neck because rn your head is doing more a swinging motion than a turn.
Go as simple as you'd like. Go through the levels in their order, tho- don't do head before you get the bam bouncing. Consistency comes with practice. Animation is really hard for most people, don't feel bad if it takes you a long time to complete a task.

Change your approach. Try some different techniques or maybe do some anatomy studies. A key component to drawing something is understanding what you are drawing, or else you can't really communicate it. Maybe your noses look wrong because you don't really understand the shape so when you imply lightning with shading or line weight the viewers brain tells them that your noses are fucked up.

I'd guess it's because a painting sketch is a boring stage to watch tbqh. I usually just go straight in with shapes and then chisel them up before painting properly on top but it takes ages and there's a lot of time spent looking and making tiny adjustments. The actual splashing on light and shade and colour is the fun part to watch and would get him more normie views.

How you paint is how you draw and how you draw is how you paint.
Look at some ye olde etchings from Whistler or Sargent. Do a mastercopy or two. Painting and Drawing aren't mutually exclusive, and you may learn than they will bleed into one another when you get more insight.

Have you watched his about me video? He wanted to be an artist as a kid but changed his mind and focused on programming until he changed it again when he was 18-19. He still drew a little during that time and the attached pic was his "I'm going to be an artist" starting point. This pic is two years later:
