Are there some interesting /ic/ related art communities that focus on getting gud?
I know about the /ic/ irc but thats filled with stagnant people who constantly ask for advice and for people to look at their pics but never improve.

i only asked for art communities with good members and complained about the amount of stagnant waifufags in the irc, didnt even imply that affects or stops my progress.
There's the sketchbook section of conceptart.org, but its a little dead. There's not many large free communities dedicated to improving skill
Oh I just realised I misread your post. There used to be an /ic/ deviant art group but that slowly tapered out of popularity.
