Sure, there's lots of basic issues with this, but at least the artist is clearly pushing their boundaries and trying something different. I'd be interested in seeing their work in another 5 or 10 years in the hopes that they continue to pursue their own aesthetic while filling in the gaps of their technical skills.
Or you can be a dick and make fun of them.

You must be new here.

Nice totally reasonable response, shitlord.

I'm not new, I just think if we are going to laugh at artists they should either be completely delusional or very popular despite obvious flaws. Some unknown mediocre artist who is trying their best and shows potential isn't that fun to laugh at for me.
I looked her up, she's a qt and also some of her art is pretty decent, nice colors and brushstrokes, definitely better than 83.5% of /ic/. OP's pic is definitely not her best, but that's probably because he's eager to shit on people.

"A quick 5 hour forest spirit that turned out looking like an ape."
yeah no this guy deserves to be made fun of

Whatever floats your boat. I'd love to see what you can pull off with five hours.

>forest spirit
>looks like an ape
Actually that seems pretty natural when I think about it. Surprised I haven't seen that done more. Usually it's faeries or some bs, which makes less sense.

Probably the images you've seen have stemmed from dryads

Post your art, OP. I'm sure you have enough art to fill this whole thread.

Did you make pic related?
