I'm new to art and just discovered Sycra's YouTube channel. I've been trying out his 'iterative drawing' idea, what do you think of my results?

There's nothing wrong with iterative drawing, concept artists do it all the fucking time. The fact that you kneejerk hate it just because Sycra endorsed it says a lot about you. It's cute that you learned the words "construction and form" and act like it's mutually exclusive to iterative drawing.

Start a drawing, give up because it's too hard. Go to /ic/. Critique their work to make yourself feel better.

You'll find most people draw a thing once then move on and draw something else instead. The concept is to draw the same thing from imagination several times in one session and analyze what you're doing wrong / what could be different or better.
It's not a concept Sycra invented, but it's telling that lots of /ic/ rejects it because Sycra taught it.
