to be historically precise, I should clarify that there were actually 2 incidents in which that picture was posted to win an argument, the first by the original artist, Andrew Sonea, and the second by another artist who had saved the picture the first time it was posted and used it in the second incident. Andrew Sonea did in fact acknowledge that the picture was stolen in the second incident.

I was at art gallery once where someone did exactly that. It was a huge wall painted completely grey with 1cm brushes. Artist didn't even do it themself, they got their "students" or apprentices or something to do it for them.
It was shit but some of the students got bored and doodled and wrote shit on it, which you could barely see from some angles.

This is the single worst piece I have ever made. I had always drawn weeaboo garbage. I had always drawn sketchy crap. And I often looked at pictures I'd made after the fact and kinda hated them.
But this one was different.
I drew this, and then I put down my pen, and then I looked at it, and immediately I said, I hate this. This is the worst picture I have ever drawn. And I vowed, from that day, to never draw a picture so shit ever again.
I will always keep this picture as a reminder. As a reminder that I can never allow myself to produce anything this bad ever again.
