Filigree, acanthus, floral, etc. design and drawing thread? Basically the little floral designs you see in older banknotes and legal documents, old borders, books, etc.
This is a hard subject to find material for, as it's quite old. There is one called "How to Draw an Acanthus" (can't remember the author) that is okay, but is from pre-turn of the century and somewhat cryptic. So if we could post designs we like, or even our own tips, that'd be great. I'll post some of my own designs and favorites.
