If you have to ask this question than you're already not gonna make it.
>>2510751
Yes but it isn't too late to kill yourself
>>2510751
TL;DR no depending on several factors
this guy sums it up nicely

it could take you 3-10 years depending on factors like your visual spacial capacity, aptitude for muscle memory, etc.
its very similiar to music in this regard.

is it too late to post this thread every 2 days

the official cut off date as designated by the arts and improvement of self institute of America is 20 years old 5 months and 6 days. Anything beyond that is hopeless.
Glad I could help you.

is it too late if im 12?

this, your brain shuts off at 20 sorry mate
No.
How 'bout you try and find out yourself OP.
>>2510957
I remember I barely made it when I started, was at 20/4/28 days
luckily you only have to start and then you can keep going forever, makes me wonder why not everybody takes a week to start drawing before they hit the cutoff date, even if they aren't interested in drawing
20-30 are actually your golden years where your brain is on its height and actually still develops. Coupled with the fact that starting around 20 you're actually mature enough to start learning something efficiently.
If you need to waste 10 years of your life it better not be those golden 10 years.
Though all that said, I doubt someone in his thirties will have much trouble learning something new. Maybe it's even harder psychologically to start something entirely new, but that's all there is to it.
I think you can learn art with any age. Sure, your will learn slower in a really high age but what actually will make you not learn things is your growing psychological fear. Imagine the blockade of a 60 year old trying to learn something entirely new when a 20 year already has those fears.
Imagine the regret if you find something you absolutely love doing in a high age, all those years you didn't do this thing. People in their early twenties already often fear they are too late into the game to become great since they didn't start in their childhoods.
I honestly think it's those growing fears what makes old people avoid new things and slow learners. Every /ic/ guy here who practices procrastination knows that those fears and blockades ultimately are the biggest reason why you don't learn.

If you're dead yeah

Nosebro I'm shocked. You didn't mention the physical that all prospective artists get to identify if their ligameme generates spark. You need to meme harder if you're going to keep your reputation.

This this so much. Good shit man. I just hit 20 and got into drawing. I stopped drawing when I was younger because of fears that I wasn't "talented enough". I regret the years of drawing I lost that fear took from me. Don't let fear take something you love, or feel you could love OP. Do it, fear's a big bitch boy. Suck horribly for 10 years then be amazing and blow people's minds right the fuck out of their skulls or shill your porn to NEETs. Doesn't matter so long as you enjoy it! (or make money so you don't starve to death).
The average life expetancy is 80 years. That means you'll only get 60 years to learn how to draw your creepy cartoon porn properly and that's not enough. You won't make it in time.

Yes. Give up now.
No. It's never too late to learn to draw. If drawing is something you want to be able to do, start now. You can only get better.
