So I've got a huge blank wall behind my sofa and want to make something to cover it.

Pic related. It's a rough sketch up I've made of what I'm planning on doing.
Will add more details when I do the actual work.

Anyone got any tips on how I could do this?
Paint or print? stencils? etc.

I like the idea.

And I think digital media is probably the best choice - you can get it printed fairly cheaply if you look around your neighbourhood.
