Ya, you don't even need to dilute it. You can also put acrylic and india inks in there, but they might clog the brush if you leave it in there.. I mean for like months.

That's why I was thinking of diluting it, so as not to waste, because it seems like the capacity is a lot larger than a fountain pen.

Yea I have a feeling india ink would be better (cheaper too) but I was just trying to use what I have. Fountain pen ink is water-based though so I assumed that would help with any potential clogging.

Also what about the Pentel Pocket Brush? Could you put a fountain pen ink in those cartridges with a syringe?

Yea you can refill cartriges with any ink that you can use in a pen. Watch out cause some drawing inks are not suitable for pens and they can clog it. If it clogs, just soak it in warm water with soap to fix it.
