So I have to go to art exhibitions with my university and hold small presentations before the art works. They are shit and boring. How do I act like it's the greatest thing in the world?
Just act neutral and informative.

post the work. if you have basic formal analysis skills it shouldn't be a problem. whatever the work is, research the context and goals of the movement/style. you don't have to like it, you can discuss how it fails to achieve its goals if you do so intelligently. art criticism is more than just praise.

Yeah I get that. The thing is: I have to propose some ways in which the particular artwork/style can be integrated into a school lesson. (It's a seminar for future teachers) I can't just say: "I'd never let my students do shitty stuff like this."
I basically have to act like it's the shit.

You have to be creative then.
You could say something like it's an exersice for unhindered creativity, and allows students to let go of the anxiety of adhering to longstanding rules of design
Ask the students what they think of them and build off that.
When in doubt, shift the burden unto the students.

lel this is gold
Learn the fundamentals. Ideally learn the elements and principles. Combine that with an emotion or message that you think the artwork portrays. Then start up a discussion.
"it's a fucking painting of a dog. next"
