What do you listen to while drawing/painting?
I like listening to post rock and more chill instrumental stuff
Dark side of the moon and goodbye yellow brick road.
Audio books, podcasts, and whatever music I'm into at the moment.

Also, if they're that close to the road they wouldn't have to search. They could just follow the tracks. If it was further to search, they'd use a heli, snowmobile or skis. immersion shattered.

What the fuck have you been doing in your 20s if you haven't figured your life out before 30?
I'm barely going through the Smiths/New Order kind of phase so that. I change it up or else I get too familiar with what I listen to and my mind wanders. Or just listen to old c2cam broadcasts but I think I've heard all the good ones already.

I wish I could find more of this shit, but all I have is a few songs similar to last link.
Women singers have this effect on me when they sing like they don't give a shit.
Miike Snow, YoYoMa, I have a thing for female voices when I draw also Regina Spector, Lisa Mitchell, Cindy Lauper. Anything purely upbeat or calming.
I listen to lots of 80's pop and rock.

I assume you only listen to recordings using Bach-Lehmann tuning, since equal temperament tuning did not exist in Bach's time?
Prokofiev, Dark Ambient (Notably: Herbst9), Martial Industrial, Videogame Soundtracks (Touhou/Souls/SMT)
>>2504323
Tim Hecker is great check out his best albums Haunt Me and Harmony in Ultraviolet and if you're into loud ambient noise Virgins and Ravedeath are for you, it's my favorite musician of all time by far
>>2500282
It depends on the time and day. At night I don't like listening to slow of music, because it puts me to sleep. I prefer songs that I am familiar with rather than new ones, because it takes more time to process it mentally.
Overall songs with no one singing are best for me.

I honestly find this less obnoxious than most metal, but that's only due to most of it being instrumental.
For me, it's mostly just the vocals in metal that come across as obnoxious. I can't listen to a lot of it for that reason.
