Any tips to creating creative environments?
Jesus I miss running around Warcraft and just admiring the art.
Go mountain hiking, take pictures. Also try to remember your dreams you can get a ton of ideas from them.
Unrelated to /ic/ but goddamn do I miss playing in the starting area for Blood Elves. The art design for the whole region was just the best.
I'm so glad I stopped playing during WotLK, I heard the game is nothing more than a Facebook solo game now with selfies.
This game looks dated as fuck, why are they still making new games?

I don't play wow I play other mmos but I know what you mean about it being just about doing daily tasks and xp
Most mmos become like this once you get used to them
I've found what you can do is turn off as much gui information as possible and turn the audio back on. Zoom in more and let yourself become immersed in the world. Stop focussing on being efficient in a game and just have fun
Look at all people who have made #1 spots in games, when asked if they thought it was worth it they never say yes.
Just have fun.
morrowind obviously had the best environment, plebs

Blizzard (Activison really) won't let the game die. Ask most people who've played the game since Vanilla when WOW died and 95% will say after Wrath of the Lich King. The game should have ended there but they morphed the game into a fucking ugly monster now.
No joke, the game now is a solo game with Facebook like features and you can take in-game selfies and post them to your Twitter.

I'd like to add that the game is shit but the art of the game is still stunningly good. The designs and concepts that Blizzard comes up with are really memorable it's just utterly sad that the gameplay is so awful these days

>art of the game
This is always a given for any Blizzard game. Their entire art department is stacked with talent.
What is Google Images.
