Do you recommend putting your name or initials on your work? I never do it. I don't like cluttering any of my pictures with my full name and I don't see the reason why put would put their initials on digital work, there's no way to reverse search an image using just initials.
Does not signing your work hamper you in the long run or it doesn't really matter?
Pic is not mine, just using it as an example of initials on work.

No, signing is only ok for huge pieces otherwise only put down the date
>post your drawing
>on a blog stating your name/nickname
>still feel the need to sign it
Why? Are you afraid someone on DA is gonna steel ur Oc?
That guy that draws weird porn, superamiuniverse, has to do it for the majority of his Shit because whenever he makes something large it's taken and used as an ad for a sponsored porn site. So it's a bit unnecessary unless you are scared of theft and/or plagiarism.

People are idiots and are too lazy to reverse image search for something so signing your work with an address or nickname is a good way to lead new fans to your blog. If someone posts fanart here, with no signature everyone would be shitting themselves trying to figure out where it came from.

This! I don't really sign my stuff, but I put a little discreet copy-pasted text featuring my Tumblr in the corner. Many do this and it's smart if your stuff gets re-posted elsewhere, people will be able to find you easily.

I'm also confused by this too. I always keep non-sig copies of my work in case if it's better off to post either with/without sigs and links. I don't see god-tier artists do it yet shit artists put sigs into their work. Why do most never put a sig when the file metadata can be manipulated easily?
