Well, 4xis here, first of all I draw everything I do from imagination, one of the few I ever used was an obama sketch I did in my most recent sketch page. So i guess I'll take that as a compliment and point out that the basis of your argument is flawed. I take pride in the fact that I don't need to use refs to draw most of the things I want and if you really think they re all refed than it only validates it. And yes, I do know my art have many flaws and its not to everybody's liking but it is going in the direction i want it to. As of your hate, that's like your opinion man, anyone is entitled to it and it brings me no offense. Secondly, if you're really brian which you seem to not deny, I noticed that you've been acting like a bit of a twat to pretty much anybody with not much to back it up. I actually posted the last three drawings, and none of them is mine. I am sorry I wasn't on this reunion were you decided this one sketch is shit, anon, but while there is some truth to what you are saying, this little sketch is still great.
Stacking objects is an easy way to make a drawing look complex without actually putting work into it, it can hide the underlying drawing, and for all we know the rest of this drawing could be shit, and the guy cropped just the good part.
But just because it looks like it uses tricks to fool us, it doesn't mean it's meant to be this kind of shit drawing. The bags and the body actually have volume, he knows how to use lineweight and hatching to make the bags pop, and it's specially apparent that the artist knows what he is doing because of the way he draws the "box" that is the lower bag.
That blabbering about how there is no incorrect way to draw a bag is just nonsense. There is a way to spot bad perspective and bad lines and scribbles from a guy who doesn't know what he is doing, and for what it is, this sketch in particular is pretty solid. Sure, it would be harder to do a drawing were you have all you hands and feet showing, even harder if there was foreshortening, possibly ten characters doing weird poses in the background, but it doesn't mean a drawing is shit because it's easier to do than these other ones. Stop being salty and go draw, faggot
