Sup guys. Let's talk ATCs. Does anyone draw on them? Have you traded any away? Have you gotten any back? Share your stories.
I recently just got into them. There's a pretty decent art scene where I live, and I'm hoping to meet some fellow artists to trade amongst them. Let's see them cards!
Where do you live? I never heard of this.
Looks cool, but I guess /ic/'s not the place for it, unless they draw ye olde masters on em.

Long Beach, CA. They're literally little 2.5X3.5 cards that you can buy, or make out of any type paper. I guess the point of it is to draw something on it, and trade with fellow artists and collect art from them. Sounds pretty cool, and I was wondering if /ic/ does anything like that. I would love to hear stories.
How are these cards made? Any tutorials or info? I want to try it out, but I don't know where to start.

>grab some paper.
>any paper.
>thicker the better, you want these babies to last for a while, no?
>grid as many 2.5 x 3.5 squares as you can on said paper.
>cut out your cards
>start drawing on them son.
That's about it. I was able to get 9 cards out of a 9x12 Bristol paper. It's really quite easy.

Thanks man! I'll try it out and post it, if thread's still alive by then.

Strathmore sells artist trading cards that come in different varieties of paper.
You might wanna try Etsy for buying ATCs in bulk if you don't wanna cut your own.

Cutting your own is kinda half the fun Anon. Gives your freedom to use any kind of board or paper.
Just did a Usagi Yojimbo card.
