What are some artists that use crazy colors like this?
All I can think of is Jojo and the main influence he used. Is there a name for this?
Source?
Some comic called NIMA. They only got one day left for funding. Art is really nice.

Yup I see it

Between that and the red river, it's probably a birth metaphor.

Moebius uses colours like this a lot.
>>2443351
I know what you're getting at, but I think that Moebius has real world logic behind most of his color choices unlike OP, they're just stylized. I imagine the real world equivalent of that Moebius piece is sort of like pic related.
>>2443378
I mean you can argue the same with the op image.
Red lakes, green hills and yellow light are a pretty common sight if you go camping and tend to wake up before sunrise, what really makes the image surreal is the female figure.
>>2443351
Feng Zhu shits over Moebius anyday.
>>2443410
Regardless, I think 80's/70's european comics would be a good bet for OP to find similar colors.

>"crazy colors"
more like random colors
>>2444580
It's not random at all. The red river is what hits the birthing symbolism home, and is contrasted with the complementary green which sells the mountain/forest imagery. The yellow highlights provide a nice bridge between the two while also signifying the sunlight, making the red river seem a touch more natural under implied sunrise/sunset lighting (strengthened by the pinks in the upper portions of the mountain/body). There's also a touch of green/blue in the highlights of the water to signify that it is in fact a water river, not actual blood.
More artists? Alwas looking for inspiration.
