I used to buy a lot of those how to draw tutorial books back when I was in elementary school from the book fairs. One day I bought a how to draw fantasy characters book that had this really cool, buff warrior dude on the front, so naturally, I bought it. I mostly drew ripped superhero type characters back then(and lots of dbz shit.) but when I was going through the book on the school bus I noticed that the book had a tutorial on how to draw this hot pixie chick, she looked kinda cool so I decided to draw her. When I started drawing her I felt a weird sensation in between my legs, it was my baby boner sprouting for the first time. This is mostly just kinda getting something that still bugs me off my chest so i can let it the fuck go and stop being afraid of showing off my work.
Anyway, when I was in middle school I was the biggest weeaboo. Worse? I was a weeaboo before there were weeaboos (Like I predated it by three or four years, basically before Naruto hit Cartoon Network. Yep that means my favourite was INUYASHAAAAAA. Yeah.)
Anyway, because of fanart for anime, I wanted to draw so I could be as good as the people who made work I liked so I could do the kinda stuff I wanted to see. So I hadn't yet considered taking art seriously but I drew constantly, on all of my tests, homework, notes, so naturally in French class, I was working on a MASTERPIECE (i.e. really crappy fanart but it was the best I could do at the time).
During class, the teacher assigned us a group project so I moved to sit with my friends for our group and another girl took my desk for her group.
She then turns to me with the meanest smile and says loudly, "Can I rip this?" and as soon as I say no she rips it in half.
I got up and punched the bitch and got sent to the office for it (who took my side because they felt sorry for the weird kid that got bullied a lot. The school had a lot of weird ass rules and overly-angry teachers (I got written up for saying it was dumb food couldn't be taken outside the cafeteria and put in our lockers once) so a lot of the higher ups who had to deal with a lot of stupid cases of kids getting sent to them for punishment for dumb shit, just kinda didn't give a shit if it wasn't serious (no one's really injured etc).
I'm not violent anymore and I handle things better with words now, nor do I freak out at criticism either, but I am still terrified of showing my work off in "unsafe' enviornments. Doing critiques at school and posting works I feel that are strong here make me feel a little better about it but I'm still getting over this even though I'm 25 now. Kill me.

In sixth grade, we were given an assignment that involved writing and drawing about a subject of our choosing. For some reason, I chose guns and drew gun diagrams that I copied from a book that a friend brought to school.
Couples with the fact that I tended to draw a lot of bloody action scenes from Rambo, Alien and The Terminator in my notebooks, my teacher (who was smoking hot... not that it matters) sent me home with a note for my parents, where she claimed I had an unhealthy obsession with guns and violence (you know, like every other boy that age).
My mother didn't really care and my father thought the note was stupid, so it didn't really have any consequences.

I used to draw a naked man and woman side by side and stare at them trying to figure out which one I liked.
I always liked the woman better and was really sad that I'd have to marry a man when I grew up, because I didn't realise yet that homosexuality was a thing and that het marriage was optional.
