Looks very cute

That's because you don't have to study animal anatomy as carefully in order to use it convincingly.
>>2414236
>implying you need to study human anatomy to use it convincingly
>>2414237
Well.. duh.
>>2412047
not that great at drawing cats
>tfw I learned art by drawing animals and find humans hard as hell to draw

Fuck off furfag
>>2415296
Fur would imply humanized versions, or animalfied versions of humans.
These are just superior animals being superior.
If anything we would be beastfags.
from a while ago.
>>2415687
So you want to fuck an actual animal instead of a humanized animal. Good to know, horsefucker
In all seriousness though if you can only draw people, you're not a good artist. You need to be well rounded and that includes drawing animals.

Cute, but the legs don't make much sense.
I love this thread. A lot.
>>2415801
There are a lot of animals that don't make sense.
>>2415810
*anatomical sense
I mean I get that its supposed to look cool, but they just looked stabbed in there and would have awkward movement capability. Plus many 4 legged animals have legs that bend backwards rather than all 4 forward.

Ahh these looks so wonderful, keep the posts coming in... I wish i can understand animals in such a way to draw them as freely as these artists.
I really want a good animal reference books. or photo collection. (one with different angles, variable poses if possible)

Leonardo Da Vinci
Does anyone know the artist? I can't remember.
>>2415812
legs don't bend backwards anyway, you're either looking at ankles or knees
>>2416012
>>2416013
Leg being the entire thing, meaning the knee bending back instead of forward = leg bending back. Which still isn't entirely accurate, but the motion makes a curve toward the back for stability.

is there a book that would be an animal equivalent of
>Gesture Drawing Vol 3 by Ryan Woodward

>>2412047

Not sure what book that is but the force book on animals is solid
>>2416025
the art of animal drawing has some good info
Really, you just have to draw a bunch of animals, and eventually, you will pick up on the similarities between them

She is disgustingly good. I don't use the term master lightly, but I think it's fair to use in her case. While she might not have his visual library and insane way of drawing I think her animal drawings are better than KJG's.
