Really disappointed with some of the art in here. You can tell that this guy had used many references (which is acceptable since it deals in-depth about muscle groups and bone structure, etc), but once it comes to the pages where it's clearly done by him himself, it's fucked.

I make way more money off art than with commissions from teenagers. I don't give a fuck if I don't make money off the book. anime is mostly realism + stylized eyes. Japanese artists study Loomis, Bridgman, Hogarth and then they do specific style studies for the hair, eyes, face stylization that is unique to certain anime styles.
