I would like to know how much progress should I be doing in a specific amount of time, lets say drawing a head. How much time would it take to learn to draw heads from every angle and so on? I know it is different for everyone but i have to be sure that i am not retarded.

You have to visualize complex shapes as simple ones. So in your case, you would need to know hot draw a box in any angle and that skill would transfer over to heads. Don't think of them as two separate things.
