Where did this come from? These threads aren't really tumblry at all. Sure there's a significant number of people using tumblr for their submissions, but only a couple (that I've noticed) look like they're from "true" tumblrites. And most of the shit in these threads is memes,

What do you guys think about this? I like the idea of a week being consistent within itself, but if the prompt is too specific it could get boring. I think it would be best to have an overarching theme with a different relevant challenge each day. For instance, if the week's theme was anatomy, the days could be heads, hands, feet, upper body, lower body, full body, then whichever you feel you still need to work the most on, Or something along those lines. If we had a week about value and/or color, the prompts could be technically specific like low/high contrast, warm/cool colors, etc, or it could be different moods for each day and you need to portray that in thumbnails. But it might also be too restricting to have a daily challenge, so I'd be happy with broad week-long ones as well. For instance in the anatomy week, you could get away with doing any sort of anatomy study each day, instead of being forced to draw something specific. But on the other hand, we might run out of broad topics pretty quickly unless we do a sort of circuit of fundamentals, with funner stuff thrown in here and there, and something narrow like a specific mood might get boring to do for seven days in a row. Or it could be interesting, since you'd be forced to do a bunch of different takes on it and you could produce some great ideas from the creativity exercise. So I guess I can see all sides of it, someone please give their input to help me cement my opinion.

If she's stretching, there are other things that should technically change. Yeah I hadn't decided on the exact turn the legs and feet would be doing because I wasn't clear on the pose. If I keep the arms and torso like this, I'm thinking I would take the front one and turn it so the bottom of the foot is showing, and have the back one bend in and rest on its side. If I change the legs like in your pic, I'd have to redo the arms and torso so it looks more like splits than a stretch, but I'm more fond of how the arms are looking. I didn't use a ref because I wanted to see how far I could go without one but now I can check some to help get the exact details figured out.

So draw for hours every day like the other NEETs here. Stop playing video games if you play them, or at least severely limit your playing time. Make a schedule for yourself, I recommend doing a study every day and afterwards do something from imagination that uses what you learned from the study to reinforce it. You can definitely git gud within a lifetime with that much free time to allocate to art.

Go outside and take a walk. Seriously, I've never been clinically depressed but when I sink into those more short-lived depressions getting some fresh air and free exploration always livens me up. I guess it depends on what you mean by poor physical health though. If you're just generally unfit it'll do you physical good as well, but if you have an actual condition it may not be feasible. If there's anything that you've noticed tends to inspire you, maybe spend some more time with it. By the way, if you're the generally unfit side of unhealthy, I started eating more healthily recently and I have a lot more energy now. Seriously, eat your veggies. They're great.

I think it's more of a NEET thing. There are a lot of NEETs here because they have so much time to spend here, and the internet is a very common vice. And from my observations, NEETs are usually depressed. It's probably both a cause and an effect. They let their life stagnate because they're depressed, and they get depressed because they're not doing anything.
