That's a really good reason to stop copying photos.
You can use a photo as reference, but don't copy it, it comes out so much better if you take the forms from it and apply a good perspective to them.

It looks like you used black for shading. The shadows are really ugly and the colors are the same throughout the face. Add some variation to that. Also, such strictly centered front view portraits only work well under certain creative circumstances which you didn't meet. You did a simple study.
It's not terrible, probably one of the best ones here, but it's not great either, just keep at it.
