This shows a lot more skill than the first pic you posted. Just work on heads and expressions, you're already really good but it doesn't show that well in your heads and heads and faces are prime real estate in art.

You need to do still lifes.
They're absolutely vital to making good art from the imagination.
Do one every day for an hour and you'll improve greatly.

You need to spend more time on your sketches. These are simply un-finished drawings.
Spend more than an hour. Plan something out and see it through until completion. Spend at least 6 hours on a single sketch.
You'll learn more from doing one thing through to completion than stagnating at a bunch of half-assed sketches.
