I'm interested to hear about your experiences with art workshops or other online services offering art education be it CGMA, conceptart.org LEVEL UP!, pencilkings.com oor whatever else you used and how it helped you if it did.

workshops are garbage, take the actual classes or a mentorship on patreon.
CGMA, schoolism, some of the learnsquared shit is good. If you're gonna do a mentorship make sure the teacher is worthwhile, like james paick, john park.

So there is only 1 person here who used any of them?

Take with a grain of salt or outright ignore all career/industry advice. It will become dated by the time you can apply it, if not already.
Anything that strengthens foundation, sure.
How to use a program, sure. (but if you cant figure out 80 percent of this on your own you are helpless)
But at some point this stuff serves as more entertainment than education.
taste + discipline will produce decent to good results.
right now the best art group out there hands down is Draw or Die. the only bad thing is it's on facebook but i heard they're starting a forum based site soon.
