This is debatable as well as an opinion that reflects your own state when working. Not everyone can concentrate in silence, also, I don't think someone should be listening to music ALL the time, but these specific tracks are more of a means of encouragement than entertainment.

I think this is true for music with lyrics or fast rythm, but quiet ambient abstract music like Tim Hecker or Biosphere is perfectly fine.

Mostly depends on the mood of what I'm drawing.
But as defaults I enjoy Have A Nice Life as a sort of 'white noise' to keep me in the zone and slow me down so I don't get distracted or rush anything, and on the opposite end I like The Kinks when I need some spirit kicked into me.
Always familiar, predictable albums. Not random songs or outside playlists that'll get distracting or be a procrastination temptation. Just throw it on, let it run it's course, and take a conveniently timed short break when it's finished so I don't start getting stupid.
I wish people had posted their drawings alongside their music so there would be some way to yell at people and say they are dum- i mean be interested by their brainworkings

Thanks. I was looking for more goth/post-punk kind of stuff that doesn't suck. My usual blackmetal favorites can be a bit obnoxious when trying to draw and whatnot.
