I don't know if he's ever been a regular on /ic/, but Doomfest is one of the best artists I've seen that frequent 4chan, he seems to strive to become great at pretty much every categorizable aspect of visual arts he can find, from a recent post where he's talking about electronics I guess he's the kind of guy like Arne, who tries to take things apart and see how they work, and these people tend to get really good at art from what I've seen, these types that are simultaneously into math/logical types of things like electronics and programming and art at the same time..
