There's a huge difference between deliberate practice and "I'm just gonna draw whatever and not learn from my mistakes.". Photographic memory and proper understanding of how light and perspective works probably also helps a lot. Add years and years of practice to that and you got a fucking cocktail of excellent ability. I had the pleasure of seeing Kim jung gi live. I watched him drawing for over two hours from ten feet away. It was surreal. His business cards are stunning to boot. If you buy one of his sketch collections ($110 I think his 2011 version was) , he sketches inside. But you can't request something or its considered a commission. He did what I can only describe as an Asian woodsman in mine. Overall great event. Would go to again.
