I'll ask here since the occasion just popped-out:
Do you have to have a goal to draw? Do you really have to have something like "I want to X" or "become Y" to draw better with time? Do you really have to strive for fame/professional work and can't do it as a hobby long-term?

I want some sort of success before I die.
Even if I never make a penny off art, I still want to be recognized. If just one guy looks at what I draw and says "Damn, I want to do that", then I'm happy.

Roman and Greek sculptures are literally endgame.
I would like to be able to zone-out and draw for many hours like some people can do. For now I do my beginner studies and can barely focus for 30-40 minutes. I hope that I can practise for longer with ease some day and even find it relaxing to just render away a drawing/painting instead of spending too much time on the webz and vidya.
