Can we get a stream of consciousness thread?
Anyone else just open paint and draw? I'd like to get better and form a cohesive style.
I rarely do stuff by hand. Usually only draw sleep deprived and depressed. It's an occasional outlet to dump derangement of thought or something to that effect. Wondering if anyone else does something like this where the point isn't beauty
You're an interesting kid I'll give you that. You should reinforce your schizophrenia with some Loomis.

You think I'm schizophrenic? Never considered that

Also what is Loomis?
Fuck paint, learn collage.
You got this kid.

Thanks stranger, I'll give it a shot
Yo, can i just say this is dope and you need keep going. looks like some early Basquiat stuff which exists in digital format. Theres something interesting about emotive work which is intangible. I just finished my 4th year at art school btw, bout to begin my masters.

I hadn't heard of Basquiat until after I started but I saw the comparison and it struck me especially hearing he killed himself. Since then I've actually slowed down as I was concerned I was feeding into an unhealthy habit.

Congrats on your Masters by the way
Basquiat was one of the reasons i started painting, there's a really good documentary about his life called "the radiant child" and a film called Basquiat which is cool too. Keep looking at abstract expressionism I'd say.
