Doesn't say much. They released cards with illustrations he did like 5 years ago for wow. The one you posted looks like something he might have done in 2008 or 2009.

This wasn't made for Hearthstone though. Blizzard is reusing art from their old WoW TCG. You can clearly tell it's a finished illustration with plenty of detail, it's just from many years ago before Ruanjia was nearly as good as he is now. OP is a retard, not sure why everyone is falling for this.
Pic related is something he did in 2010 and even that looks way worse than anything he does nowadays, so you can tell just how old these images must be. Probably some of his first commercial work.
