Any good YouTube sources for oil painting. Landscapes mainly.
Time lapse is fine, but watching someone paint a full painting would be helpful. It doesn't have to be instructional.

Hate to break it to you, but the vast majority of artists in history would paint wet on wet techniques. They wouldn't go full on Bob Ross and tap in a generic tree in 5 taps, but nothing gets paint flowing off a brush better than painting into a medium.
Some artists would paint the image in tones of grey, and glaze over colors.
Others just painted it alla prima. Dunno what else to say, man.

I feel like you can learn a lot from listening to him talk to his class while he works. I don't know why anyone wouldn't want to hear him ramble on for hours when he's talking about exactly what he does while he does it.

Note that even as they all take a "break" they continue to talk about art off screen because they're all that passionate about it. When people wonder why they're not progressing as fast as some of their peers or even people far younger than they are, they have to ask themselves if they share the same love of the craft and whether they can cultivate that in themselves.
