daily reminder:
If you're listening to music when drawing you're not really concentrating as hard as you should be.

This. I find it hard to carry on the internal dialog with music when I draw from life.

Awww shit nigger that's my jam.
No but really I sort of listen to music I'm in the mood for and the things I draw match my mood. I don't know what it is but it's like when I feel a certain way everything I do mirrors this and it's really hard for me to say draw something sad when I'm happy. If I'm hype my drawings are hype and I listen to Kanye, if I'm chilled out I draw probably my best drawings and I listen to classical or hiromi or glasper.
I give time to my music and time to my art. I listen to music with my eyes closed and do my art in silence

Mah nigga

daily reminder:
many professionals listen to game/movie soundtracks and classical music to help them focus on their work. Others claim to work best while listening to every other kind of music out there. It's heavily personal, so try out different things to see what works best for you. Generally, that repetitive music with few-to-no lyrics tends to have the best effects on concentration.

faggot.
Bonus protip, don't listen to retards on ic who make vague claims with no basis in reality. They're only attempting to sound superior and more enlightened then others to make up for their own self-loathing. And that's a rrrock fact!

It's one of my favorite songs and it's actually a cover of a really old Brazilian Bossa Nova song, but I thought it'd be more important to know what the lyrics say.
Here's it being sung in Portuguese by the original composer/singer: https://youtu.be/E1tOV7y94DY

Also this version, which may or may not be the original version, I'm not sure.
Worth a watch for the cute ending https://youtu.be/FI1b9RK10JI

agreed. besides, its obvious that people concentrate better in different ways.
some people cannot concentrate with music, some people can only concentrate with music.
