i prefer a more graphic design-ish look, personally
strong shapes and all that
might be a good idea to let the paint dry and then mix specific colors instead of just throwing it at the canvas and letting it all blend together
color theory could be helpful

of course, abstract pieces are completely based on opinions, so asking for critique on it is a little out there
