Hello /ic/ so recently my friend and I decided we would do a little Christmas art trade. He asked me to draw his charecter "Willow" who's apparently some sort of a god-like entity created by scientists. Now this premise sounds somewhat reasonable and reminds me a bit of Akira. Though what pissed me off is the design and how disgusting it is. All I need is some ideas to make the design appealing to look at.

or you can read through Tsutomu Nihei's former assistant Q Hayashida's work Dorohedoro. It's a sketchy as Nihei's but I prefer Hayashida's style. Her lines are crisper

Tsutomu Nihei has another series out very similar to BLAME, if you're interested, called BIOMEGA that doesn't make you "read" half the first book before dialog starts...
