What is a good lightweight alternative to windows image viewer that can view animated gifs?
Try out irfanview.
Basically every web browser can view gifs if you use the file location as a url. Qutebrowser is pretty lightweight. dwb is lightweight.
If you're on GNU/Linux, gifsicle is good for animating shit.

Using a web browser to open images probably wouldn't be the best idea as far as I know.
Probably wouldn't have the option of scrolling through images, and might run into inconveniences with how it scales the image.
I've never done it before, though.
I used to use one called Windows 7 Gif Viewer (or something along those lines). Was basically a Windows Pictures and Fax Viewer clone with gif support.
Honeyview
Seriously, it's the best image viewer
Thanks niggers

They used to work fine back in windows xp times, same for seeing thumbnails for psd files. Only thing I would love for pc is the previewing images with spacebar, it's just so damn handy.
