Worked some more on that dragonkin kobold witch I tossed into the thread a few days ago.
Redid her with another costume and some light background work. Critique welcome (yes, I know - no hands is a sin and a shortcut)

All of your fundies are lacking. There really isn't anything specific that stands out. Getting your values, proportions and temperature control will help alot. Your design sensibilities are cool and it went well on reddit which is a good sign. Keep up the good work looking forward to seeing more of your stuff at the top of imaginarymonsters.

Can't disagree with that critique. I've got a lot of focused expertise but I still can't draw in 3 dimensions very well - and my figures still come out distorted.
Guess the only way forward now is to just keep smashing my nose against the grindstone of the basics until one day they hopefully stick. Gods, I hope that day's coming some day soon.
