What do we draw?
>Whatever you want. At this point there's no required topic so draw your heart out. Make sure you submit at least a half hour of work or you may get a low effort warning.
What's a low effort warning?
>The goal is to get people to draw every day by turning it into a competition. The low effort warning system is to prevent people from posting last minute, quick sketches when they're feeling lazy. If you receive a warning and it happens again within a month you'll be eliminated.
>This rule has been the cause of a lot of concern amongst newer artists so let me reiterate: this system is to police low effort content and has nothing to do with the quality of the work. New artists are more than welcome.
What happens if I'm eliminated?
>A new Last Artist Standing challenge starts every week. If you get eliminated then get it together and rejoin next week.
How can there be a new Last Artist Standing challenge every week?
>This is a way to let new artists join in and to allow re-entry for the eliminated. Every week a new challenge is started. If you joined on week 1 and make it to week 2 then your daily submission counts for both the first and second Last Artist Standing. If you get eliminated then you're eliminated from both challenges and you'll be able to rejoin next week.
Will I have an advantage if I join later in the week?

All of this stuff is amazing to train your storytelling abilities, since 90% of the time players will do completely unexpected things and you'll have to improvise and create locations, characters and stories on the fly. Helps a lot to give meaning to your paintings and designs.

Hey sorry I thought I replied about the JP thing yesterday. I set the tribunal up so that you can't report submissions older than three days to help limit potential trolling. That doesn't mean if people manage to lay low for 72 hours they'll be in the clear.
I don't think I'd ever go back and fire up the tribunal for a possible low effort case that's months old but when the tribunal was implemented I said that anyone caught cheating would be punished, regardless of how long ago it happened.
I'm personally biased to go easier on people who've been submitting every day for a long time but cheating is a big one. He didn't post anything else for that day on his deviantart (which isn't damning since he only uploads there half the time) but a couple weeks later he posted

I went through his past submissions to help a build a case to pardon him. I figured it was an honest mistake (and it may have been) but it turned up those 4 submissions I linked. I didn't even go through it with a fine tooth comb. There were some very similar submissions and I bet if you went through all 167 and cross referenced them you'd find more.

Also- for critiques, maybe it could be something people can toggle on or off, perhaps on a per submission basis. Just an extra check box that if checked means the artist will accept critiques. Going further with that, critiques could either be completely private (no one but the artist sees them) or a similar system where the artist can choose to display critiques publicly.
As a pleb I'd prefer the option to get crit here and there. But I want actual fucking crit.

The current plan for the critique system is that you "earn" the ability to ask for a critique. You post for x days and then you can flag your submission saying "I want a critique for this."
Another reason why this feature was moved until after the stats were implemented is because the stats update comes with a user profile update. On it you'll be able to link to your blog and add a little bio. It's going to be suggested that you add your experience and your art goals.
I think and important part of giving a critique is knowing what the person wants to do. You can give general advice based on their submission but if you also know for example that they want to make those portrait bux then you can recommend books and tutorials, etc
I've been trying to come up with a system to moderate critiques and I think the best way to handle it is to let people flag whether or not a critique was constructive and sort based on that. I know same of you guys are itching for new tribunal cases to judge but I think adding critique reports would be too much. If it turns out most people are constructive then repeat offenders could wind up in the tribunal and the community can decide if they should have their critiquer's license revoked for a while

I study anatomy and gesture mostly, I just sketch stuff a lot mostly. I've been trying to work from imagination as well as directly from reference lately.
I am not surprised by my lack of progress, I will progress exceptionally slowly. This is because I only practice about 2 hours a day. I have too many other responsibilities to get more time than that on a regular basis. If I happen to get extra time in a day I generally use it to work on my art.

The vast majority of women have uneven boobs actually. Some just vary in a larger degree. Some can even have breasts of two different cup sizes. It's why getting proper fittings and custom bras are really a much better idea than buying shitty ones at walmart or even victoria's secret.

breast size difference isn't the main~ reason to get a custom bra. It's because most of the time what you think is your size isn't actually your size and the Victoria's secret people are terrible at measuring. They're really just hired to look pretty and taught one inaccurate way of doing the job and aren't very thorough. Also many bras have a size listed that doesn't always fit with what the size actually is.
At the very least, getting a proper fitting is good, even if you're not gonna buy a fancy expensive bra.
