What do we draw?
>Whatever you want. At this point there's no required topic so draw your heart out. Make sure you submit at least a half hour of work or you may get a low effort warning.
What's a low effort warning?
>The goal is to get people to draw every day by turning it into a competition. The low effort warning system is to prevent people from posting last minute, quick sketches when they're feeling lazy. If you receive a warning and it happens again within a month you'll be eliminated.
>This rule has been the cause of a lot of concern amongst newer artists so let me reiterate: this system is to police low effort content and has nothing to do with the quality of the work. New artists are more than welcome.
What happens if I'm eliminated?
>A new Last Artist Standing challenge starts every week. If you get eliminated then get it together and rejoin next week.
How can there be a new Last Artist Standing challenge every week?
>This is a way to let new artists join in and to allow re-entry for the eliminated. Every week a new challenge is started. If you joined on week 1 and make it to week 2 then your daily submission counts for both the first and second Last Artist Standing. If you get eliminated then you're eliminated from both challenges and you'll be able to rejoin next week.
Will I have an advantage if I join later in the week?
>The winner of a Last Artist Standing will be the artist with the longest streak. If you join on day 1 and last until day 85 then you'll have a streak of 85. If there's only one person left in the challenge when you're eliminated but they joined on Day 7 then they'll need to continue on for another week. If they're eliminated before then, you win.

I see them a lot on my Tumblr, IG, and Twitter feeds. Admittedly a few of them are just popular so seeing reoccurring artists probably 'inflates' the number, but there's still quite a large range of really young but extremely skilled/focused artists.
I'm a very slow grower, so seeing people who've seem like they've put in about the same (or less) work but shot past me makes me feel shitty. Yeah. But I also generally draw very small on paper. If you like to make big strokes then you should probably go with the medium. I'm also not sure how much the price difference is, it's probably better to go bigger and not use the whole thing than to feel restricted, but from my own experience at least I don't think a small would be limiting.

I'd recommend getting medium if your budget allows it. I had a small one for a few years and while it was fine at first, after a while i noticed how i miss being able to do big dynamic strokes like i can do on paper. Also, there's a higher chance of wrist pain (in a long term) when you always draw with it instead of using shoulder.
Now i got a Companion 2 which is a bit bigger than a Medium and it feel amaaaaazing.

Aw, I'm sorry you feel like you can't get into the stream chats. I'm one of the regular streamers/lurkers and people try to start the conversation and keep it going, so videogames are common since it's pretty unifying (plus E3 is going on). But art and other topics are often brought up. Some days people want to talk about art religiously but other days people just want to take a mental break.

Lost most of my friends too or rather just drifted away. That's a more important aspect to the ages thing rather than just who's too old to make it or whatever. Down to a last two or three who still care, and then a couple of types who are full normie now, they just work and drink and watch netflix. Feels like I have less and less in common with them now and more in common with anons on here or other boards.
I like the streams though, can be pretty chill and just talk bout artists we like and what we want to learn or do and things. Sure there's banter and shit too but that's part of getting people to loosen up around each other more. Can't just start talking about deep stuff one day, need to feel comfortable first.
I'd like some kind of more regular thing though since I miss streams a lot because of time zones, but also don't want to split the community at all. To the other week 1 and other people who want to try it out, just make a dummy account or something for lurking the chat and see what it's like.
Also seeing other people fall is sad now. I rewatched Band of Brothers recently and there's a scene where they have everyone in a church listening to a German choir before they move to the next town. And the camera moves over them and more than half the men fade and disappear. All those empty seats, made me think of LAS.

I commented in the first thread were the idea of LAS come up, in the first 3 guys even, but because of lazy and doubt I didn't start doing LAS until the 12 week or so. I lasted a week, then stop posting again, got back into lurking.
I am planing to hope in the fun again once my schedule planing starts to show progress and I fill I have more consistency in my drawing quality, because today I might do something I like, but the next day not post because I feel I underperformed

Welcome back banana. Friendly suggestion to try your best to relax into art; hard work is absolutely a good thing but getting into the mindset that you're not working hard enough unless you draw till your fingers bleed etc is not a good thing.
Focus on learning something new each week and also give yourself time to mess around in photoshop, maybe make some brushes and play with them, see what settings the mixer tool can do, stuff like that. It's very important to have fun while painting or to be able to actually enjoy it as well as getting the work done.

90% of us lack foundation and basic knowledge of both light and darks and form, you can critique them all you want, but they already know what they lack, you'd have to be really dense to not see the differences in your drawing and reality
what they really need is to invest more time into practising
and those who have that knowledge don't ask for critique because they have a clear goal in mind on what to improve in the future

I'd look at photos of women in various kinds clothes (tight, loose, different fabrics, different breast sizes and poses) and observe how the fabric shapes itself. It also just involves general knowledge of how breasts work and how fabric works. Vilppu has a good video about fabric.
As for tips, basically tighter clothing and/or larger breasts causes the fabric to stretch over the breasts, and looser clothing or smaller breasts cause the fabric to just hang down. The breasts are less visible with stiffer fabric (such as a suit), and the stiffer the fabric the less cleavage will be apparent. With softer/looser fabric (like a thin T-shirt), the fabric will conform more to the shape of the breast. With loose clothing and breasts with space between them (especially if the breasts are smaller and she's not wearing a bra), in some positions the fabric will fall a bit between the breasts, if there's cleavage (breasts are touching) or the fabric is tight never stick the fabric in between the breasts, that looks tacky and doesn't ever happen in real life unless you manually shove the fabric in there.
Here's an example of how loose fabric conforms to the breasts where it's sitting on top of them, and then hangs down from them around nipple height where they start to curve back into the body. Gravity is important here, if she were lying down the fabric would be conforming to the entire shape of the breast, since it would be on top of them all around. And if she were leaning over so that the front of her body was facing downward, all of the fabric would be hanging down and the breasts wouldn't be apparent unless the fabric was so tight that it was being stretched across the breasts.
