Which one would be better to draw professionally, Wacom Pro Large or Cintiq?
If Cintiq, which one of them? There are so many models of it and I just cant decide between them
I cant afford the latest one but some earlier models sure, my budget for a tablet is around 2000 euros
Which would be the best choice?
no one here has money because everyone here is an artist
cintiq 22 or 13

I have a 24HD. I tried the 22 in the store two years ago when I was buying it. They feel the same, its just the size difference. Buying any of them is good. Im not sure about the smaller model and the companion as they are really small so might not be a good investment compared to an intuos or some alternative screen drawing tablet (there are some korean and chinese manufacturers which aint so horrible I heard). I got wacom mainly because I didn't wanna worry if its gonna break down in a few years.
Lets study more hands /ic/
Why the fuck is this so hard to study from?

Post your current drawing here and give constructive critique to others!
Please make sure your posted image is clear, downsized to around 1000 pixels wide, rotated to the correct orientation, and that any unused space is cropped.
If you want critique on a drawing from the previous thread, you can delete it there and repost in this one.

Post em now.

-If someone is RUDE tell them to not expect much from an hour's work.
-Posting WIP's, studies, "doodles", and random sketches are highly encouraged.
-The art must be fresh. Like you just drew it in the past hour.
I drew this around hour ago,

This thread is meant for artists who might want to try to make stylized work in-between their studies. It is strongly recommended that you use this thread in conjunction with learning the elements and fundamentals of art. You can also discuss the visual elements of various professional artists as well if you keep it relatively articulate and civil.

If I remain at this level for awhile yet I hope things at least become more intuitive for me. I feel like every drawing no matter how low-brow takes an immense internal struggle full of second guesses and sad concessions when I realize I just can't solve a problem
I want to try some stylized stuff but I always draw fanart. How the hell do I come up with some random character to test this on? How do you guys just draw people?? I know this sounds crazy but I seriously don't know how to decide what to draw.
Second try, still just a pencil drawing.
So I saw some person here posting some nice things done in SAI and thought I would try it myself. I think they were called viscousflo or something. If you're still around I'd appreciate a comment or two.
Anyways, it's a neat program but I am still trying to figure it out since I'm used to PS. Anyone here have experience with SAI? Tips? Resources? What tools and settings do you use? I'm mostly using the brush, water, and blue tool on one layer. But the brush and water don't respond consistently how I'd like really. I don't really...

Looks really nice, is that what you wanted to hear?
Is it possible to make art if you have ADHD? I always want to draw/paint but I can only begin to sketch before I get bored and want to stop. Should I just make abstract art that only takes a few minutes to make
what makes you bored
there is no such thing as adhd, its just one of those social special snowflake memes
99% of the population has "adhd" and would rather find something with instant gratification, e.g videogames/tv/shitposting
its the 1% who decide to focus on a skill for long term gratification and they produce some memorable things..
Are there any recommended books for learning to draw with charcoal? Links would very much be appreciated

Shell out the cash and attend Watts Atelier online. Best charcoal based drawing course you'll ever take.

hi guys, this is what happens. I want to give this girl I like a coffee mug with a charlie the unicorn design because she is crazy about it, but I can't find a decent big size image of charlie to make the impression :( I'm desperate so I'm drawing upon to the most drastic resource i can think of: you guys. I have this design I made by myself but it's too small. I need something about 1000x800 so the impression won't blur. Please guys if you could help me with any image or even an idea I would really appreciate it.
What do you think of my creative take on the walking dead zombie app with that moon-person cananite picture?

>>>this alignment chart shows the basic ideologies of the primal forces in this world represented by these character god type things, paired with what are basically rough sketches of what i want them to look like (squid monsters, humanoids, vaguely dark spirit things etc)
my question for yall, who has done, or been part of, a project that requires extensive world/lore building, and what are some potentially good strategies for going about...

Bump in curiosity
While building a lore i would guess one builds the worlds rules and laws. And set a chronology with logical events that lead to the current game event. Maybe taking reference of real life past
>maybe saying the crystal clear obvious
>>2326877
Write down everything that's on top of your head about your setting and keep doing that until you're satisfied.
try lurking /ic/ they're building interesting worlds out of their asses all the time. Should be helpful

Oh god a size 20 flat in there would be rather nice. Nice bit oil brushes~
But seriously, use those things. They're way too clean. Get painting fgt.

How do you guys paint/draw cellophane/highly reflective images? Any good tutorials out there?
>>2326682
best way i guess would be to draw the highlights out in crumbled patterns. pretty much reflections n whatnot over what you have drawn
Photo studies would be your best bet, I think.
