How do they make stones look so soft?
>>2422910
they chisel away all the stuff that doesn't look soft

>How do they....
Practice, the answer to these dumb "How do they.... How do I...." questions is always shit loads of practice.

Are you guys sure anyone can learn?
This took almost an hour, I enjoyed doing it hut it gave me a weird headache. Also its really fucking bad.
ref: Picasso Stravinsky
Honestly, if thats all you can do with a reference, you might want to find a different hobby.
everyone can learn, not everyone can excel.
Are all the hours you spend getting to that "ah ha" breakthrough worth it, especially because it seems so painfully obvious once you get it?
what a retarded fucking question
>>2426445
You're not gonna make it.
>>2426461
What a well thought out response. I bet you have a lot of friends and a successful career and have sex more than once a week (I have all of these things).
Why are Japanese artists such fucking slobs?
because they're gud unlike 99% of /ic/ and you
Japanese people live in tiny apartments.
Thats what you call an organized mess. It happens when you have a lot of things and live in a small place.
Hey guys,
I just got this sick idea how we can make an alternative to the TP thread.
We could be a little more creative and craft our very own princesses or
princes
Not that the design in the TP charts aren't good, but I think we can expand on that.
Let's just give it a go and see how it goes.
>What do you guys think?
Oh and if you spot mistakes in the pic then just point them out so we can make it better.
>>2423889
I think the idea is good. But you may need a little bit of structure/ post examples.
>Last two digits
>Two last digits
It's a little confusing, and this is a slow board. I suggest the use of Random.org since gets are kinda predictable.
>>2423904
Okay let me just give an example then so people can understand this better.
Let's take your last two digits 0 and 4.
So according to the chart you get to draw a curvy hybrid of a human and an animal.
So you could maybe draw a butterfly-knight or a bird-queen.
I know it's a little confusing, but I literally don't know how to simplify this even more.
>>2423926
Yeah, I got it.
Center the gets column and make it bigger or something, since it's supposed to be the important thing and it's confined to a small corner.
When asking for payment for a commission on PayPal, it unprofessional to ask for buyers to send money as a friend rather than as a client?
The reason I'm asking is because PayPal takes a chunk of your money when they send money in exchange for goods and services but not as a gift between friends.
I don't want to seem like a cheapskate but $10 is $10.
>>2426280
It might be but I guess some circles won't mind if you do.
>>2426280
Don't ask him to, tell him to, if he asks why then give him the exact reason you just typed out, that's it senpai
>>2426280
i read on a blog there's an legal option alot of ppl use to avoid taxes on paypal i think they take up to 10% right? but it only works on the usa.
Opinions?
By posting a new thread you bumped another thread that was no doubt more useful than your shitty scribble off page 10. Go fuck yourself.

Does anyone know good brands to bur for modeling clay? I've looked it up, but would prefer the suggestion(s) of someone who's well-versed on the matter.
I've heard many good things about Sculley.
hey OP kun.
if you are new to sculpting then i would highly recommend that you get your self some WED clay. its a water base clay organically invented by the Disney company. its cheap as fuck an perfect for the beginner that needs to have a lott of mileage.
after that you can get yourself some oil base clay such as the chavant NSP. its very expensive an you dont get allot of it either but its really good and easy to maintain meaning. you dont need to water it when it gets dry or bag it at the end of the day.
also i would highly recommend that you search...

Why is it so easy to ruin character design?
>>2425765
A: Not giving a fuck
B: Having to follow guidelines from the suits
C:giving up on life
D: You've spent so many hours and weeks remaking this thing because the suits want something better you don't even know what reality is anymore.

Basically all this.
how do i utilize warm and cool colors when im oil painting? should i only, for instance, mix a lemon yellow with an ultramarine blue, or are there times where its more appropriate to use a cooler blue? im just moving on from using three primaries and white in my paintings and im a little confused. also any knowledge you have on oil painting or color mixing in general would be nice.
>>2425607
id like to also add thats not my painting pic related i just grabbed it out of a recent self portrait thread and blindly picked it out of my inspiration folder.
>>2425608
everbody here (should) know who painted this

Hey guys, name's FoxinShadow. I'm streaming over on Picarto and want some critique

This is a slow board, if you want a critique you will have to post an image on one of the draw threads.

I love you fox <3
/ic/ help me.. artist's block... sitting in front of blank paper for hours the past few months and it's making me depressed..
You're supposed to draw on the paper you retard.
>>2424793
i'm trying, yet without an idea of what to draw or without inspiration i just get to draw some lines and ragequit
>>2424800
Go outside, take your sketchbook with you and draw a house, or a person, or a tree, whatever you see.
Sitting in front of a piece of paper won't do much for you apparently, so get up and get out of your house.
