If you get a new tool what kind of things should you relearn to be able to use it?
I'm talking about being able to draw lines for drawing tools since drawing lines with a pencil and a nib will be quite different Being able to blend or mix colors in painting tools. Stuff you need to relearn to once again be able to automate the technical aspect.

what's the best cheap frame i can get for a 13 x 19 pic?
>>2438168
Go to a flea market, or good will , or alternatively, you can just make a frame.
Go to micheals, they sell simple black poster wall frames. They look nice, just simple plastic. I get them all the time if I just need to throw a quick, cheap frame on something. Make sure you inspect it before you buy it for cracks. Also if this is something you're going to be moving around a lot or taking in and our of the frame a lot, probably invest in something sturdier.
This one is $10, on sale for $6

stab your mother in the heart and pray to satan. Only then will you have the decency to stop making your own threads ( mainly because you dont have access to the internet in prison)

The horns look a bit comical due to the amount of detail you have everywhere else in this inked drawing. I suggest using some reference for the horns and really trying to balance it out with the goat's face.

Your hands are pretty weak, draw more hands.
Studding fabric a bit more wouldn't hurt.
So apparently it's not uncommon for artists to get shadowbanned from Reddit for only submitting their art to art sub-reddits. "They need to post other people's art or they are not contributing to the community".
What in the holy shit is that. How the fuck is spamming a solution to controlling spam?
>>2438988
Why are you on that cancerous place to begin with fuck off back on to reddit.
>>2438988
Reddit is fucking retarded. More news at 11.
Post what you are working on
I think I'm going to add some complex decorations around to make it more interesting

Idk what I'm gonna do with this

It looks like you haven't put in any real effort into learning how to paint. This results in a lazy and boring painting. You even messed up the spray paint! You must respect the craftmanship of painting when you're painting. You must put in serious hours in order to get decent at it. You're just like all those middle class teens who tries to rap and record a semi-ironic video to youtube. Some people like it, but they're the same people who like B movies from the 80s. You guys are dumbing yourselves...

Could of been interesting if you didn't paint that fucking bean square in the middle.

This thread is meant for artists who might want to try to make anime work in-between their studies. It is strongly recommended that you use this thread in conjunction with learning the elements and fundamentals of art. You can also discuss the visual elements of various professional artists as well if you keep it relatively articulate and civil.
Submit your drawings, receive feedback or critique others! Share your knowledge and remember to thank those who've critiqued or red-lined your drawings. Most importantly,...

Anyone else love this 80s/90s retro style of fantasy art?
Something just nostalgic about it. It's awesome.
It reminds me of a time where people didn't care about being objectified or stereotyped. It allowed artists to create heroic men and sexy women in crazy fantasical environments and people just loved how awesome it was.
Nowadays you make a girl with large boobs and ass with a thin waist and you get hambeasts charging at you with their forks from dinner time.
Who the fuck wants the hero of a story to be some fatass when you can have an actual hero look fucking ripped and stand 9 heads tall.

Every creative/social movement is a reaction to the one preceding it.

How can I make drawing architecture less boring?
I usually have to think a lot about perspective when I'm doing it and it kills my creativity.
Be imaginative?
More examples I like
Ive been learning how to draw for the last couple months and its been going well, but all my drawings are really boring and im unsure how to choose interesting scenes to draw. Are there any good resources on choosing interesting subject matter, themes, etc?
>>2438489
Being able to draw well is more important than what you draw. If you've only drawn a few months I'm sure everything you do is uninteresting.
If you are ever in Paris do take some time to visit the tennis court oath place. I've been after visiting Versailles, and even though you couldn't move for tourists there, Versailles' high street and the area with the oath room was empty except for locals. Now I've lived in France for 3 years but it was a cool place to visit and my friend...

You can begin to worry about that in ~2 years
How about nature. I never get tired of it.
My school is giving away free slides with high quality images of artists images.
So far, a lot of Contemporary stuff is sitting at the top, but the bag has 60,000 slides, and maybe there are some good things near the bottom. Should I see about taking them all?
Those seem interesting, but 60,000 of them seems excessive

There are some gems. Sargent's, Freud's, Henri Robert's, but there is a fuckton of modern art trash
