I can't really draw with a pencil I've tried many times. But I find in my free time, forging metal into neat shapes and utensils is quiet the self entertainment.
Nice work.

Metal art is getting more and more prominent with the decline of true blacksmithing; keep it up man!
I drew this thing, now shower me with gold. And by gold I expect piss and honey.

fuck you
nice!! XD
Does anyone else's self worth revolve entirely around their art?
No, it resolves around my mental illness.
I don't really care about the quality of my art, I just like to keep going.
Sometimes.
Othertimes, I feel like shit for being a poorfag who only became a poorfag because of my batshit insane alcoholic mother, and how I'm slowly clawing my way back to being middle class.
Alright /IC/ I need your help.
So my motherly unit has given me the job of looking up a certain Chinese artwork's translation. She said the name of the bit is 'son of the dragon King ascends into the heavens' . but I'm not too sure if that's the name. That and I'm not exactly Chinese literate. Can you all help a simple anon out?
Pic relevant. Its the artwork in question

The print is by Ogata Gekko
This is the sort of information you get from /ic/.
For moon rune requests, go elsewhere.
What if symbol drawing is actually the way to go?

Wow nigger.
When you draw from imagination you're actually symbol drawing. But your symbols have become something much more complex and realistic cuz muh studies.
Wewlad.
>>2446062
how did you arrive at the conclusion that symbol drawing is the way to go? because the video talks about the opposite
lets assume your portrait skill is your fitness function
symbol drawing is equivalent of population during its first iteration and as it mutates/crosses/randoms it becomes something greater if you guide it the right way
pixel only

Lurking. Go on...
daily reminder that someone was paid to draw goggles on a cheese puff and the movie made $1.159 billion at the box office.
Keep drawing /ic/
Personally I hate the minions but never saw the movie.
That said the design is still good.
Good design choices are rarely complex or fancy, it's the simple things that appeal to people and being able to make those simple things distinctly recognizable as your own. The minions accomplish this.
I have made a card game and I want to have some feedback about the design.
Please take a look.

This goes on /gd/ not on /ic/
Designed this for myself, I have a hard time evaluating my own work so I'll let /ic/ judge (sorry about the shitty quality)

why people still think they deserve their entire thread still confuses me.
post in the beginners thread.
also, this is /ic/ . we are painfully honest here.
painfully.
honest.
your work is total shit.
anyone that says otherwise is either your family killing you with kindness or retards that wanna be friendly.
>>2444590
I guess it's okay if you're doodling and you show a friend or something? But you're in the wrong place for such a shitty and boring drawing. This is is literally art, not just mindless pictures.
I am thinking of doing a pretty lengthy comic for my senior thesis - in pencil because I can work quickly with it, and I don't mind certain scenes being less rendered than others (sacrifice necessary to finish). Can someone on /ic/ recommend me some good tutorials on comic printing? I don't need tutorials on things like composition or anything - I mean, specifically, what the setup is like. The paper, the materials, the dimensions, how I would get it printed, what my process should look like. I don't want to just draw the whole thing on paper and then have my...
Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
The specifics of the format are up to who you're getting it printed by, just research what the margins your printshop requires.
Otherwise, just leave yourself big fucking margins. I can't remember what these are called , but I'm pretty sure they actually sell the kind of margin template paper like this that pro comic artists use for their submissions to the publisher.

I've always found Mao propaganda art to be oddly charming.
hi /ic/
Im thinking about making websites for people for a fair amount of money, but I cannot seem to find the right forums... Do you have any suggestions on facebook groups?
Would you be interested in a site like this?
That doesn't look any better than what I could get on SquareSpace as a generic template, probably a bit worse if I'm to be frank. Your rates would have to be a lot better than theirs to make it worth the while.
