Is it just me or is the perspective/scale of the figures on the bridge completely fucked? Compared to the boats to the left of the other side of the bridge, it appears they would be giants.
I'm a young artist, and I got to have some opinions on my artwork other than my family and art teacher, be honest.
Another one
And one last one.
>>2500755
What kind of opinions do you honestly think you will get? There is not much to critique, desu. Guess everything i will say can be derailed into a "muh style" discussion but well.. composition is non existent, as well as any kind of "basics".. at this point its pretty much just different places with lines and colours. What are your goals? Do you want to get better and actually get into illustration or do you just want to do it as a hobby?
Does anyone have any tips how to draw bending a box like in the page?.
I just can't seem to wrap my head round drawing it?.
draw 200 from imagination until it's intuitive
alternatively you could draw cylinders
>>2497840
Sycra has videos dedicated to that ;^)
How do I get on sites like SinnerGate or Hentai United?
Why would you want to get on SinnerGate? There is no money to make there and the artist running the site had just awful stuff.
How does a site like Sinner work? Isn't it just a hosting site?
>>2495403
It's just image host site. Nothing more.
Let's see /ic/ draw their own renditions of Pepe.

Was this done on an Etch-a-Sketch?
>No good workshops where I live
>No good classes
>No ateliers
All I want is have a place to go in real life to learn from artists far better than me. Practicing at home everyday is dull.
>>2500463
Have you looked at the ARC atelier map?https://artrenewal.org/pages/ateliermap.php
>>2500463
>Practicing at home everyday is dull.
Go outside then and do some plein air. Or don't do art if it isn't fun. It's a solitary hobby/profession, so get used to working alone.

Yep, there's nothing in my state or around me, and I can't exactly up and move somewhere else.

What a blatant disregard to other peoples culture.
So right now I have a commission backlog of 12 images that are due. But I have to pay my rent and a couple other bills in the next two weeks and I don't have any money right now. Would it be morally wrong for me to put my current commission you to make cash?
It would be a real scumbag thing to do. You only have yourself to blame for the hole your in.

If you were financially secure, led a family life and all that and your kids would manifest an interest in drawing would you seriously mentor them and set them on a path to mastery early or let them be kids and fumble around untill their mid-teens?
I would set them up with a mentor and feed them resources. I would not mentor them myself. Then if I don't like the mentor or my kid doesn't like them, there is always room to switch. Not investing into their skills earlier on seems a waste to me, there are kids who can do some great shit because they worked hard early on.
>>2492545
Mentor them. By the way I wouldn't send them to school at all and hire private teachers instead for every subject. Without wasting 8+ hours/day it's possible to make them master multiple fields (learning multiple languages to near-native level etc.) by the time it takes the average teen to finish high school.

>>2492595
Hmmm, I think I made a mistake in the OP. I should've said you were earning a living with your art. Meaning there's no way you can hire someone better than you at a reasonable rate.
I'm wondering about the atelier system in a familial context. On one hand it'd set a kid on the same path Mozart started on. On the other it may be seen as imposing your own passions on a kid just because it likes to doodle and get praised by you.

Any tips to creating creative environments?
Jesus I miss running around Warcraft and just admiring the art.
Go mountain hiking, take pictures. Also try to remember your dreams you can get a ton of ideas from them.
Unrelated to /ic/ but goddamn do I miss playing in the starting area for Blood Elves. The art design for the whole region was just the best.
I'm so glad I stopped playing during WotLK, I heard the game is nothing more than a Facebook solo game now with selfies.
This game looks dated as fuck, why are they still making new games?
just started my drawing channel this is my ''how to draw a dragon head video'' check it out :) --> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T9lCxU4MMbk

Has anyone ever had experience with the Watts Atelier? I like this guy and some day may look into their online courses.
He talk a lot about getting gud by not being a panzy and just grinding on the right exersizes, like learning a sport. Is he legit?
i am enrolled on his classes. he is a great teacher.
he has a very good sense of discipline and habit and he has instilled it in me and work work is infinitely better for it. i am currently learning from his father. but its rarely ever finished. after a while i plan on going back and retaking the same classes from him. "repletion is the mother of skill" he would always say.
and the watts approach to draftsman ship is quite something. from holding a pencil like a brush and seeing a putty/eraser as white paint man. are you in for a surprise. i wholeheartedly...

>tfw there is two oceans between me and watts
I would sell my soul to attend. Is the online school a viable alternative?
Watts is one of the best living art teachers. Never have I seen such a genuine, passionate and intelligent man.
so I've never had sweaty hands in my life and I'm 24 years old. Since about a week ago I've noticed my palms I've gotten really sweaty or greasy. Not like super sweaty but enough to make gripping my pen pretty annoying Not super sweaty but enough dampness to make gripping my pen a little annoying.
Has this ever happened to anyone? Sons with the hands out of nowhere? Is there something I can do to stop it?
>>2499302
You should really proofread your shit before you post.
I sweat a lot, and I can rust through guitar strings in a week of moderate playing. I keep a rag next to my drawing table to wipe of my hand and pen every whenever it becomes a problem. I draw with only one knuckle of my pinky finger grazing the paper anyway, but if I'm working on details by anchoring my hand I put another piece of paper down to rest my hand on.
Washing your hands helps for a little while too. Usually when I take a break one of my dogs will come over to say hi, so I've gotten in the habit of washing my hands after I take a break so they don't smell like dog anyway.
I never use any kind of antiperspirants, so I can't give advice there.
Could be due to stress or depending how much caffeine your drinking.
Trust me, I'm a doctor.
Stop jerking off so much.
