Yoona... She's so amazing you can't help but to want to spend every waking moment of your life with her. It's a fact of knowing that someone so perfect exists that makes us so passionately, sometimes desperately, want to be with her.
But Yoona, of course, is a precious, limited resource. She is so special in part because she is only one woman, somehow filled with so much love and compassion and joy. And because she is only one woman, she must travel from place to place around the globe spreading her wonderful message, not staying in any one place too long. Not to mention that she is so busy with SNSD, acting, promotions, and everything else that she has very little personal time. All things considered, it's a miracle she can spread her love around at all. We're very lucky that she does.
What I'm trying to say is that we can't help but to want to be closer to Yoona. But we have to restrain our selfish impulses and be patient. Think about all those who don't yet know she exists at all! And how unfair it would be to deprive them of Yoona's grace just to have her all to ourselves. I myself have been struggling with this recently. It feels like there's a giant emptiness in my heart and all I want is to see Yoona again, to have her look me in the eyes again, and to have her smile at me again to fill that emptiness. I'm truly serious when I say how awfully and deeply it cuts into me knowing that none of that may happen in my lifetime. But I know I have to be grateful that she even came into my life to begin with. I have to restrain my selfish wants and desires. And I have to patiently wait for the day that I can see her in her paradise. It's going to hurt, but it's what Yoona wants of us. And at the end of the day, she is more important to me than I am to myself, because she's looking out for me, and she knows what's best. Trust in Yoona that she knows what's best for us. And let's be happy that we got to know her at all!

Yes and I should be thankful for that, shouldn't I? I should be happy with what I got, because I'm very lucky. Not everyone gets to even see Yoona much less meet her. And I got to gaze upon her radiance, and I even shouted out her name, and she turned around and we made eye contact. That's a rare and special opportunity for which I should feel blessed and be content with.
But unfortunately I'm not content. I want nothing more than to see her again and meet her and introduce myself and get to know her and be her friend. So yes, I'm selfish. I'm greedy. I'm a damn terrible person because instead of being happy with what I got I just want more, like an unruly child who didn't get enough dessert. I hate that I feel this way. I hate myself that I can't practice what I preach. I always post nice things like be thankful for Yoona's love and be content knowing she loves you but I myself can't swallow my own medicine.
To me Yoona's like a drug where the first high you get just makes you crave more and more, in higher doses each time. And seeing her up on the stage and walk away, disappear behind the curtain, just made her seem more elusive and distant. I actually remember walking out of the concert being really conflicted about it because it was the greatest thing to happen to me in that moment but the feeling didn't last. When I watch a video of her or see a picture, I can save it and go back to it later, play it over and over again, and experience the same effect. But not so with that tangible, live experience. I'll never be able to have it again. I'll never be able to keep going back again and again to see her.
This has just been exacerbated by reading about the fan event. An event devoted to Yoona, something I know I could never go to. Like I said I resent that I feel this way. I hate it. I wish I could stop it and I wish I could take comfort in the words that I write to others about Yoona. But for some reason it's not working.
