There's definitely a noticeable difference in quality, but I don't think this is anything more than what could be achieved with h264 at half the bitrate. Looking at the 4K screenshot in full size, it actually looks upscaled from 1080p, which does not surprise me at all.

I also found it interesting that the Catch Me perf is different between both broadcasts. Like completely different shots made from separate sets of cameras. I think this might be because it was actually broadcast live, while MoMoMo was prerecorded, which gave them time to convert it beforehand.
